Retailer Data Feed Format

The retailer data feed file is a tab delimited text file. The first line in the file (the header) should state the fields used.

Retailers can submit a product and/or a bike feed. The product data feed is for listing clothing, helmets & accessories. The bike data feed is for listing new and used bikes for sale.

General Information

When processing your data feed, we will ignore additional or surplus columns. It does not matter what order the fields are presented in the file as long as they are consistent with the order in the header.

The data feed is based on the Google Base format; this means we can use the same data feed you create to upload to Google/Froogle. Therefore, any third party tool you use to manage your website will probably already be able to create a file you can use in MotorcycleGold.

Please remember that we love data. Therefore, we prefer your data feed to include all products in your catalogue. Also, if you have different fitment or colours for your products, we're more than happy if you have multiple entries. For example, you might have an entry for each colour of Arai RX-7's in your catalogue.
