The Chaser is designed and developed as a truly innovative design, with much attention paid to details. The fibre glass outer shell is, just as any Arai helmet, severely tested for penetration, while the Hyper Ridge at the bottom of the shell offers extra rigidity and strength. Especially attractive is the new ventilation system, with the new large inlet duct at the front of the helmet and the massive exhaust duct at the rear. - PENETRATION-RESISTANT: The penetration test of falling the 3 kg cone test striker through a height of 300 cm is conducted, although it is not required by European helmet standard.
- FIBRE GLASS: Fibreglass shell is strong, lightweight and provides much more comfort than typical helmets of its type.
- HYBRID MULTIPLE-DENSITY FOAM EPS LINER: Is Arai's unique technology of giving multiply different densities to the liner as a single component instead of assembling several different density liners to make the final part.
- HYPER RIDGE: Reinforcement at the bottom of the outer shell for more strength, including the area around rear exhaust vents.
- AIR CONDUCTOR INTAKE: New flat but wide front intake duct provides fresh air around the top of the head more efficiently. Large-sized open/close lever on the duct allows you to operate it even with gloves on.
- AIR CONDUCTOR OUTLET: New rear exhaust duct draws out hot air and molsture from inside the helmet more efficiently. same as the front duct, largesized open/close lever on the duct allows you to operate it even with gloves on.
- BROW VENTILATION: More cooling air in the upper face area without the need to drill holes in the shell.
- LRS: Lever Release System. Visor change in seconds without tools. Cleaning or replacing the shield made really easy.
- DEMIST LOCK: Ventilate the shield, yet keep it locked. Especially practical for in town use under damp weather conditions.
- PINLOCK FOG-FREE SHIELD: Comes standard with the helmet. Prevents effectively fogging or misting of the shield.
- CHIN VENT: Two position vent: half open directs the airflow down, full open for visor demist function.
- FFS: Free Flow System creates an airflow under the helmet to help reduce wind turbulence and noise.
- REMOVABLE CHEEKPADS: Removable cheekpad. Fully washable interior is easily cleaned to provide a fresh helmet whenever you desire.
- INTEGRATED HOLDERS: For a smooth shell surface.
